Job Description As a Senior Manager in Power Infrastructure Projects, you will be pivotal in driving the success of large-scale power infrastructure initiatives that ensure reliable data center operations. Your leadership will be essential in executing power development projects effectively, managing schedules, costs, risks, and collaboration with power developers and delivery partners. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to translate development requirements into actionable construction execution that supports our growth objectives. Your role will involve overseeing complex power infrastructure activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards, all while keeping a strong focus on schedule and budget adherence. You will engage with developers, contractors, and internal teams to identify and resolve issues proactively, escalating any risks that could impede delivery, and championing continuous improvement across all projects. Your technical judgment and proactive leadership will ensure the successful delivery of power infrastructure projects that align with our organization's long-term operational goals. Responsibilities Construction Oversight & Project Review: Develop a deep understanding of large-scale power infrastructure projects. Oversee construction activities led by developers, coordinating with stakeholders to tackle safety, schedule, cost, or quality issues. Construction Standards Implementation: Enforce standardized construction management practices to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls are maintained across all projects. Schedule Management & Field Coordination: Analyze construction schedules, coordinate with power developers and contractors, and implement strategies to meet critical milestones. Cost & Change Management Support: Monitor construction budgets and track change activity to maintain financial discipline and address any cost trends impacting approved budgets. Risk Identification & Escalation: Recognize construction-related risks and coordination gaps, escalating issues to leadership for timely resolution and informed decision-making. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with QA/QC plans, technical requirements, and codes, facilitating the resolution of quality deficiencies. Safety Oversight: Champion safety best practices and ensure compliance with Site Specific Safety Plans, fostering a strong safety culture on-site. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal engineering, program management, commissioning, and operations teams, alongside power developers and contractors, to ensure effective project alignment and coordination. Site Engagement: Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress, safety, quality, and identify potential risks. Continuous Improvement: Engage in identifying recurring construction issues and opportunities for enhancing delivery performance across projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience in power infrastructure construction management for large-scale or mission-critical projects. Strong knowledge of construction and project management fundamentals, including schedule, cost, risk, and quality control. Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders effectively. Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, adept at overcoming complex challenges and facilitating effective issue resolution. Proven ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams and external partners in fast-paced environments.
