DIT Engineer - JPMC - Bangalore

Job Description About the Role We are seeking a DIT Engineer with strong expertise in Java development and automation to design, optimize, and maintain IT infrastructure and digital workplace technologies. The role involves leveraging automation frameworks and coding skills to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and scalability across cloud and on-premises environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure solutions (servers, networks, storage, and cloud). Develop automation scripts and tools (using Java, Python, or PowerShell) to streamline infra operations. Build and maintain Java-based utilities, APIs, or microservices for system integration and automation. Support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with provisioning, monitoring, and automation. Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments. Ensure system security, patch management, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues efficiently. Contribute to incident, change, and problem management processes with an automation-first approach. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong programming skills in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs preferred). Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP). Knowledge of Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, O365, networking fundamentals. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Exposure to test automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Virtualization and containerization knowledge (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes). IT certifications (AWS, Azure, Java, ITIL, DevOps). Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to translate business/infra needs into automation solutions. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented.
