Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Vacaville, California

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available on a per diem basis in Vacaville, CA, supporting multiple retail locations serving the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This position requires a reliable individual with solid retail pharmacy experience who can contribute effectively to a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities include performing typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing medications, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and handling takebacks. The role involves shifts during the day, evenings, and weekends, with a minimum commitment of 3-4 days per week, and the option to work more days as availability allows. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting (at least 1 year required). Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid California pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification (if applicable). Ability to perform all retail pharmacy technician responsibilities efficiently and accurately. Additional Details: Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from home. Initial training is provided over a couple of days.
