Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years in IR/Neuro IR to support a leading Level 1 Trauma academic medical center specializing in comprehensive stroke care and complex neuro and body interventions. Key Responsibilities: Assist and scrub in interventional radiology procedures, including neuro and complex body interventions. Operate and circulate on the back end during procedures alongside a dedicated two-tech team per case. Support complex cases involving stroke, cancer, tumors, peripheral and carotid vessel interventions, among others. Collaborate closely with neuro radiologists, surgeons, and interventional body specialists. Ensure proficient use and setup of Siemens, GE, Philips imaging systems, and GE ultrasound units. Participate in orientation adaptable up to two weeks based on prior experience and comfort level. Maintain a proactive role in precepting and mentoring new graduates, fostering a supportive department culture. Desired Qualifications and Experience: ARRT-R or RCIS certification. BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of specialized Interventional Radiology or Neuro-IR experience. Comfortable working in a teaching hospital setting with new graduates. Knowledgeable in scrub and circulator roles within IR procedures. Ability to handle complex and diverse case mixes in a Level 1 Trauma facility. Schedule and Work Environment: Assigned to two techs per room, supporting 46-50 cases daily. Schedule rotates every 8 weeks. Free parking and hospital-provided scrub color.
