Bring positivity and a caring attitude to the children you care for Are detail oriented, patient and flexible What you have: Ability to relate positively with young children Ability to drive school bus to transport children to and from school High school diploma or equivalent; prefer some college course work related to early childhood education Clean driving record for the last five years Valid driver's license; CDL preferred Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Ability to commit to a split shift schedule Must be first aid and child/adult CPR certified Successful background check and VA licensing standards required At least 23 years of age What you will do: Drive bus on all scheduled routes to and from school as well as approved activities Always operate within the legal speed limits and in safe fashion without exception Communicate with teachers, parents and children to meet the needs of each transported child Work a split shift - leaving the middle of your day free!
