Relocation Package available within the USSummary: Our award-winning client is seeking a Controller to join their team. The Controller supervises the Accounting and Reimbursement Departments, ensuring adherence to Accounting Policy Guides, meeting financial reporting deadlines, coordinating audits, refining systems for accounting controls, resolving discrepancies, and overseeing the preparation of financial reports, annual budget, and monthly closing. Additionally, the Controller collaborates with the CFO on special projects. Responsibilities: The Controller oversees the coordination of the annual external audit and addresses all internal audit inquiries. They are tasked with reviewing and refining systems to ensure the existence of proper accounting controls. The Controller takes responsibility for the timely resolution of discrepancies and accuracy in payment calculators. Additionally, they supervise the preparation of net revenue, cost accounting, and other reimbursement-related reports as requested. The Controller plays a pivotal role in overseeing the annual budget preparation and monthly closing process. Furthermore, they collaborate with the CFO on special projects as required. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required; a Postgraduate degree is preferred. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is highly preferred. Essential accounting experience in a healthcare setting or industry. Non-negotiable requirement for expertise in full cycle accounting, with a focus on month-end close and financial statement preparation. Strong and proven leadership skills are essential for this role.
