The selected candidate will teach a 4-4 load that includes American National Government and upper-level courses in law and judicial politics with topics such as civil rights, liberties, and the intersection of law, justice, and society. The ability to teach courses in public administration or public policy is a plus. The selected candidate is expected to mentor a roster of students majoring in Political Science and participate in departmental committees and service initiatives. Service includes helping support the Center for Justice & Society with co-curricular activities such as the mock trial team and pre-law internships. The selected candidate is also expected to maintain an active research agenda. The selected candidate will teach some online courses either asynchronously or in a hybrid format.
