Responsibilities Preparing examination room and equipment Explaining x-ray procedure to the patient to ensure understanding and comfort Operating x-ray machine according to established procedures Reviewing the quality of image and redoing if needed Operating within radiologic standards of care Taking the necessary steps to avoid undue exposure to radiation Maintaining an accurate patient record of completed x-ray procedures Opportunity to cross train into other modalities (MRI, CT) 1 year commitment required for the sign on bonus RequirementsCertification and current registration for Registered Technologist (RT) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Experience in CT and MRI preferred. Graduate of Accredited Imaging School. Must have BLS certification
