Implement individualized speech therapy sessions, focusing on communication, language development, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to build streamlined care approaches. Provide educational resources to patients and families, empowering them to support therapy progress at home. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout patients' rehabilitation journeys. Document actions and findings accurately and promptly in alignment with state regulations, federal laws, and organizational policies. Engage in ongoing professional development through educational opportunities and collaborative learning with peers. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you haven't achieved ASHA certification yet. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within your first month of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based methods for treating a wide array of age groups, with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues. Exceptional interpersonal skills for communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adept at modifying therapy methods for varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong clinical intuition coupled with effective problem-solving skills. Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation protocols. Benefits Attractive salary reflective of your experience and skill level. Flexible work schedules to promote work-life balance while managing varied caseloads. Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans available. Funding for continuing education and support for professional growth. Team-oriented workspace dedicated to high-quality care and lifelong learning. A Journey That Moves You Professionally and Personally As a Speech Language Pathologist in our organization, you're not just performing therapy; you're embarking on a meaningful journey to help restore communication, deepen connections, and generate happiness through simple yet profound acts of understanding. Every patient's story is unique, and you'll have the privilege to help narrate the path they take towards recovery.
