Position: Higher Education Program Specialist Job Type: Full Time Department: Education Location: HOLLYWOOD Posted: 02/23/2026 Job Description The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring the administrative coordination of higher educational programs on all reservations. The incumbent advises the students regarding career and higher education opportunities in the field of their choice. The incumbent reviews and evaluates student's applications and educational background for the Higher Education Scholarship Program in adherence to all Scholarship Program policies and procedures; reviews grades and evaluates student's progress. The incumbent will coordinate college visits, higher education travel, organize and coordinate annual college expo, and administer all vendor processes. High School diploma is required. Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration or related field is preferred. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the coordination of an educational program in public school and/or any other type of educational setting with at least six (6) months experience in a staff or administrative capacity is required; or an equivalent combination of relevant education/training and experience will be considered. Ability to analyze educational assessments and reports is required. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrate proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft software programs. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays. Local, regional, national, or international travel will be required, to oversee program implementation and/or to attend conferences and meetings related to the Education Department.
