Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Perform routine inventories to fulfill contract obligations • Process shipping paperwork to provide materiel loans to Teams and follow until materiel is returned • Work with multiple departments to resolve inventory and catalog discrepancies • Manage data input into various systems, research and resolve discrepancies • Document findings clearly, in a detailed fashion and in all systems and mobile devices • Balance transactions (receipt, shipping & transfer) from multiple departments • Follow FAR and DFAR policies as well as department SOG to perform all transactions • Maintain required training requirements • Not inclusive list, other duties may be assigned as needed Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications • Education Requirements: High school diploma required • Level of Experience Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain, purchasing or inventory control • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and background check Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics • Knowledge of the governing inventory supply and purchasing systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, FAR/DFAR or other established guidelines • Familiarity of Maximo or other web-based inventory management systems • Experience with inventory control, stock level management, cataloging (i.e. SLAMIS, NSN, MCN) • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Skilled with internet product search practices utilizing multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, etc) • Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines • Excellent customer service skills including verbal communication, interpersonal, and planning/organizational skills (work with many customers and departments) Ability to work independently or in a team setting Familiar with warehouse industrial equipment (license not required) • Manage contract deliverables and deadlines efficiently • Ability to multi-task is essential • Must be flexible and have ability to prioritize requirements • Ability to perform minimally required physical requirements of inventory - all employees responsible for participating in cycle inventories • No supervisory responsibilities Preferred • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR/DFAR) • Knowledge of Army Regulations and Department of the Army Pamphlets (DA Pam) • Knowledge of DoD CBRN Response Enterprise (CRE) Elements (CST/HRF/CERFP/FSRT) • Knowledge of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition processes and practices Supervisory Responsibilities • This position will not have supervisory responsibilities. Physical Setting: Job is mainly performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. There are portions of duties that are performed in a standard warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and during various weather conditions. Schedule and Flexibility: This is not a teleworking position; it is full time and will satisfy the late shift from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm once training is completed to support contract requirements for team support. Additional Qualifying Factors As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
