LVN (per diem) Days

Job Title: LVN - Per DiemLocation: Shasta Regional Medical Center - California Position Summary: Shasta Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Per Diem nursing pool. The LVN provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) scope of practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide basic nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of an RN or physician. Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope and hospital policy. Observe, document, and report patient status and response to interventions. Assist with patient hygiene, comfort, mobility, and safety. Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Maintain accurate and timely charting in the electronic medical record (EMR). Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Qualifications (Legally Required): Active California LVN License - required BLS (AHA) certification - required Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care experience - required per company policy Shift Details: Type: Per Diem Schedule: Variable, based on departmental needs Setting: Inpatient acute-care hospital
