Facilities Maintenance Technician - Bismarck, ND Are you someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping buildings safe, functional, and well-maintained? BNC National Bank is looking for a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our Bismarck and Mandan facilities. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, proactive, and enjoys solving problems while helping maintain a professional environment for employees and customers. Pay Starting at $24.00/hour (DOE) Schedule This position typically works Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm. The ability to maintain a flexible schedule when facility needs arise is required. Key Responsibilities Perform routine building building maintenance and minor repairs (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general upkeep) Inspect facilities and identify maintenance or repair needs Coordinate services with vendors, contractors, and suppliers Ensure buildings and exterior areas remain clean and presentable (windows, ATMs, entryways, etc.) - coordinate with cleaning companies Replace lightbulbs and fixtures as needed Assist with moving office furniture and transporting items to and from storage Run errands and assist with courier and backup mail services Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies Travel between Bismarck and Mandan branch locations to support facility needs Qualifications High School Diploma required 1-3 year of building or facilities maintenance experience preferred Experience in trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical systems, or HVAC helpful Valid driver's license required Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 100lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation Knowledge and skill of tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, etc. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills Must show strong initiative and be flexible and adapt to change quickly Preferred Experience & Education High School Diploma required Associates or Certification in Building Maintenance Technology, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction Management preferred 1 - 3 years experience working in a building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or similar commercial building maintenance position preferred.
