Inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) - 13-Week Travel Assignment | Lawton, OK 73505 Travel Occupational Therapist opportunity in Lawton, OK - 13-week inpatient OT assignment helping hospitalized patients recover and return home. Job Details Position: Inpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel (Travel OT, Hospital Occupational Therapist) Location: Lawton, OK 73505 (Lawton, Oklahoma; Oklahoma occupational therapy jobs) Assignment Type: Travel OT assignment Start Date: March 30, 2026 End Date: June 29, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Shift: Days (start times flexible based on unit needs) Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts On-Call: No call Weekend Rotation: Approximately 3 per quarter Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1,420 - $1,530 (estimated travel OT pay) Job Requirements Active Oklahoma Occupational Therapist (OT) license (required) NBCOT certification (required) BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required) New graduates welcome to apply; 2 years of acute care or Med-Surg OT experience preferred Clinical skills preferred: inpatient OT evaluations, ADLs (activities of daily living), functional mobility, adaptive equipment recommendations, basic splinting, and discharge planning Complete work history and skills checklist (current within 1 year, relevant to inpatient OT) Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years Permanent address required for application Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient occupational therapy services including evaluation, individualized treatment planning, intervention, and discharge recommendations for hospitalized patients Perform skilled OT assessments focused on ADLs, upper-extremity function, cognitive screening, mobility, and home safety Recommend and train patients/families on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs to support transitions of care Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, case management) for coordinated patient care and discharge planning Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) per hospital and regulatory standards Participate in scheduled weekend rotations and unit meetings as assigned Maintain all required licensure and certifications throughout the assignment Apply today to join a compassionate healthcare team in Lawton, OK.
