Senior ETL Developer

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to join a data engineering team in Wayne, PA. This role is 4 days ONSITE. The Senior ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing enterprise data pipelines while ensuring technical excellence across both onshore and offshore development teams. This position requires strong SQL expertise, hands-on ETL/ELT development experience, cloud data platform skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and efficient data solutions. Responsibilities of the Senior ETL Developer : Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver scalable ETL/ELT pipelines • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, data models, and data transformations • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering best practices and corporate standards • Partner with Data Operations, Systems Analysts, Data Architects, and offshore teams to design and deliver scalable solutions • Contribute to documentation, standards, and ongoing knowledgesharing across the team • Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and recommend improvements Qualification for the Senior ETL Developer : • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of ETL/ELT development experience • Strong SQL skills with handson ETL/ELT pipeline development • Experience with modern ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Talend, Matillion, Informatica, or Pythonbased pipelines) • Cloud data platform experience (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or Redshift) • Experience collaborating with offshore/distributed teams (preferred) • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and integration patterns • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and communication skill Compensation for the the Senior ETL Developer $100,000 - $140,000 annual base salary Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Paid Time Off. 4 days ONSITE in Wayne, PA This role opens for applications on 2/12/2026 .
