The Radiation Therapist provides prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all age groups; delivers the doses of radiation therapy, position patients, explain the procedure, and answer any questions; works with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff and physicians during treatment to ensure the best patient care; and coordinates support services like social work and dietary.
