We seek a dynamic and experienced Clinical Manager RN to lead the PCU Oncology team. As the Clinical Manager RN of the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Oncology, you will oversee the unit's daily operations and clinical activities. You will lead a team of dedicated nurses in providing high-quality care to oncology patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards of care. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the PCU Oncology unit. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and hospital policies. Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct regular rounds to assess patient status, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns. Participate in staff education and development initiatives, including orientation and ongoing training. Monitor unit performance metrics and implement strategies to achieve quality and patient satisfaction goals. Participate in performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recruitment efforts as needed. Candidate requirements Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Minimum of 5 years experience in an academic hospital setting and 3 years nursing leadership experience in an academic hospital setting. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
