In this role, you will operate MRI machines and provide high-quality imaging services to patients ranging from neonates to age 18. Your ability to make patients feel comfortable and coordinate with physicians for timely results will be essential. ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean and safe scanning facility. Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging. Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort. Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality. Adhere to all MRI safety policies and guidelines. Adjust scanning parameters to accommodate various patient ages. Identify contraindications for safe scanning and stop scans when necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureTwo (2) years of experience as an MRI Technologist. Siemens scanner experience. BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Level 1 Trauma Center experience. 6 months of pediatric experience required. ARRT certification and NYS Radiologic Tech License (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
