Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite/week) Duration: 12 months contract Pay Rate: $65/hr W2 Note: NO DEVELOPERS PLEASE, Looking for DBA (Database Administrator ) Job Description: We are seeking a senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support and manage enterprise database environments. This role focuses on Oracle DBA operations (not development), providing hands-on administration, performance tuning, automation, and high availability support while partnering closely with application teams. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and tune Oracle databases (RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, ASM, Partitioning) Provide day-to-day DBA support, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and data integrity Monitor databases and systems (processes, logs, storage, locks, traces) and proactively resolve issues Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, replication, and failover (GoldenGate or HVR) Perform schema management, auditing configuration, and routine maintenance activities Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Python, and Ansible Prepare and review operational, performance, and capacity reports; recommend system improvements Required Skills: Strong Oracle DBA SME experience Linux (mandatory) Automation/Scripting: Shell, Python, Ansible Performance tuning and monitoring expertise Replication, HA/DR, and recovery experience Nice to Have: Redis or other NoSQL databases Note: This is a DBA-only role. No application developers.
