Job Full Description Position Summary The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of customer orders-from initial inquiry and order entry through fulfillment, shipping, and post-delivery follow-up. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of tangible goods. Key Responsibilities Process customer orders, quotes, and inquiries with accuracy and urgency. Enter, review, and update orders in the ERP/WMS (JDE) system, ensuring correct part numbers, pricing, lead times, and shipping instructions. Monitor order progression from entry through production, inventory allocation, and shipment. Coordinate with production scheduling, warehouse, and logistics to resolve delays or capacity constraints. Track shipping schedules and proactively notify customers of order status, changes, or delivery confirmations. Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding product availability, production timelines, and shipment details. Help customers navigate issues such as backorders, transportation delays, and product returns. Maintain strong relationships built on responsiveness, accuracy, and follow-through. Utilize WMS/ERP to enter orders, adjust quantities, verify inventory levels, release pick tickets, and generate shipping documents. Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Production, Warehouse, Quality, and Accounting to ensure alignment on customer needs. Coordinate with shipping carriers to arrange pickups, track outbound shipments, and resolve freight-related issues. Qualifications Required 2+ years of customer service or order management experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment. Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS systems, specifically JD Edwards (JDE). Strong communication skills-written, verbal, and professional. Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Background in industrial, fabrication, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
