We are looking for a collaborative educator who is committed to supporting academic growth, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining a structured, engaging classroom environment. Position Summary The long-term substitute will assume full teaching responsibilities for a Grade 4 classroom, including planning and delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning through the remainder of the school year. Essential Responsibilities Deliver standards-based instruction in all core subject areas (reading, writing, math, science, and social studies) Implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and Minnesota state standards Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment Assess student learning and provide timely feedback Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff Participate in grade-level collaboration and staff meetings as appropriate Uphold school policies and district procedures Qualifications Valid Minnesota teaching license (Elementary Education preferred) Ability to manage classroom routines and procedures effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to student-centered instruction and differentiated learning Previous elementary teaching experience preferred Compensation Compensation will be in accordance with district policy for long-term substitute teachers.
