The Amazon Customs & Trade (ACT) team provides exceptional customs brokerage services, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. We are on the lookout for a meticulous and motivated Customs Brokerage Specialist to enhance our team. In this crucial role, you will oversee daily customs clearance operations for various shipping methods, including ocean, air, rail, and truck cross-border shipments. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with freight forwarders, sellers, and vendors to ensure proper shipment and document preparation, while actively monitoring clearance status and addressing any issues that arise. You will also be responsible for accurate data entry related to entry filing, classifications, and inspections, as well as generating and tracking delivery forms, all while maintaining compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will be energetic about delivering top-notch customer service, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a passion for international logistics. Join us in our mission to transform global commerce, one shipment at a time. Key Responsibilities: Verify the completeness of information when onboarding customers. Prepare import documentation to ensure timely release and delivery of orders. Ensure accuracy of commercial documentation and charges. Submit documentation to regulatory agencies efficiently. Achieve daily and weekly KPI targets for entry submissions and accuracy. Work collaboratively with service providers to resolve shipment issues. Coordinate with origin and destination logistics teams. Provide second-tier support for customer service inquiries. About the Team: We are a united group of logistics professionals dedicated to enhancing international trade processes. Our team strives for excellence in global supply chain management, working closely with international partners to facilitate efficient and compliant cross-border transportation. We value precision, communication, and continuous learning. Basic Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, import/export operations, or data entry/data administration. Basic knowledge of Excel (e.g., UX navigation, math & logical functions, lookup functions). Availability to work 40 hours/week, with possible overtime as required. Experience with accurate data entry and analysis. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or business preferred. Licensed customs broker is a plus. Experience in international logistics, cross-border transportation, and U.S. Customs rules and regulations. Previous experience in customs operations.
