What you will do - Essential Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers from the initial appraisal to financing applications and test drives. Conduct assessments of vehicle conditions by collecting and communicating information, aiding Buyers in generating accurate appraisals. Receive vehicles that arrive at CarMax and handle daily inventory scans and reconciliation. Perform cosmetic inspections to ensure all vehicles adhere to CarMax Quality Standards. Manage various administrative tasks such as printing reports, maintaining transaction documents, and liaising with finance companies regarding contracts. Schedule service appointments and verify the accuracy of repair order invoices for work performed. Purpose of the role This dynamic retail environment requires teamwork to meet sales goals and address diverse customer interactions. Building rapport quickly and understanding customer needs is crucial for success in this role. You'll handle a range of responsibilities such as vehicle sales, processing sales paperwork, assessing vehicle conditions for appraisals, and managing service orders.
