WE PROVIDE CHARTER BUS TRANSPORTATION TO TOUR GROUPS, PROFESSIONAL AND COLLEGE SPORTS TEAMS, DIGNITARIES, ENTERTAINERS AND MORE. RESPONSIBILITIES Handles driver vehicle write-up requests on a daily basis.Maintains and monitors preventative maintenance schedules.Performs routine maintenance such as oil changes, mounts/dismounts tires, tests batteries, and lubricates equipment and machinery.Prepares daily work schedules alongside Maintenance Manager for all level I,II, and level III, and Lead Service Technicians.Inspects brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel end components, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.Test drives vehicles to verify compliant, assist in diagnose malfunctions, and to ensure that they are working properly through correct repair proceduresTroubleshoots/diagnoses equipment problems over the phone with drivers and other personnelInspects, tests, and listens to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as gauges, digital voltmeters, laptops, manuals, manufacturer support systems, training exercises, other forms of diagnosis to include- manufacturer support call centers, representatives, online training as well as manualsRepairs and adjust seats, doors and windows, and installs and repairs accessoriesRemove, install, dismount, mount, balance, repair and general work with tires.Specializes in repairing and maintaining parts of the engine, such as fuel injection systems, HVAC systems, engine cooling, suspension, electrical, and all other components associated with company vehiclesServes as backup to the Shop Manager, and handles after hours calls on rotating schedule.Ensures compliance with DOT, EPA and OSHA rules and regulations.Complies with company scheduled hours.Works in excess of normal working hours as workloads and seasonal activities are encountered.Complies with company and safety policies and procedures. Ensures a safe working environment.Maintains a 90% efficiency rateMaintains excellent internal and external customer relations.Maintains cleanliness and organization of shop.Develops and maintains good working relationships with OEM representativesContributes to process improvement on a regular basis.Proficient in reading wiring, and air/electrical schematicsEnsures your work orders are designated correctly and comply with warranty procedures.Ensures all warranty and core parts are returned to proper area and tagged correctlyAssists Maintenance Manager with reports for work to be completed.Arranges for non-company facilities for on-the-road bus repairs, coach down situationsRequired to develop a work structure and timeline for accomplishing daily tasks.Responsible for forecasting man power needs, understanding best management practices regarding shift requirements.Understand and incorporate our company culture onto shop floor.
