Speech and Language Pathologist - Orland Park, IL

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year in Orland Park, IL, supporting students from PreK through 8th grade in an onsite school setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential speech and language services in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for PreK-8 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication strategies within the school setting. Qualifications: Valid Illinois Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License and Professional Educator License (PEL). Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is required. Experience working as a school-based SLP is strongly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff. Ability to work onsite full-time for the contract duration.
