Core Purpose: To create loyal, lifelong fans and exercise practitioners. E S Fitness is looking for an enthusiastic and sales-oriented leader for the role of Assistant Manager of Fitness Sales. In this position, you will focus on welcoming new members, guiding them through their initial fitness journey, and introducing them to personal training programs. Reporting to the Fitness Manager, this role is pivotal in boosting personal training sales and nurturing member relationships. You will work hand-in-hand with our membership and personal training teams to promote training packages and provide outstanding service to our members. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, a passion for fitness, a competitive spirit, and a proven ability to achieve results. Position Purpose: Cultivate a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team that maintains a healthy pipeline of clients, ensuring all members receive an exceptional fitness experience. Responsibilities: Drive team performance and ensure sales targets are met, especially during weekends or in the absence of the Fitness Manager. Promote personal training packages and build strong rapport with members. Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for personal training and small group training sessions. Collaborate with the membership sales team to streamline new member onboarding and sales initiatives. Conduct personalized welcome workouts to assess the fitness needs and goals of new members. Create a positive and supportive environment for new members that promotes personal training sales and member engagement. Facilitate continuous professional development for personal trainers through coaching and support. Communicate expectations and procedures clearly to staff to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood. Oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including equipment and common areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining certifications and implementing safety protocols. Qualifications: 2-3 years of customer service experience. 1 year of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong interest in or prior experience in the fitness industry. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with members, personal training clients, and staff. Strong relationship building and influencing skills. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities, time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Must align with our Core Values! Requirements: Availability to work nights and weekends. Successful background check required. Valid Personal Training certification necessary. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work effectively in a gym environment. Physical capability to lift over 40 lbs repeatedly. Ability to utilize company computer systems for documentation and data management.
