Your Role and Responsibilities As a Workday Technical Consultant specializing in Data Management and Integration, you will lead comprehensive data conversion and integration initiatives for clients, ensuring the seamless transfer of data into their Workday environment. Your core responsibilities will encompass: Lead Data Conversion Process: Strategically plan, analyze, scope, design, and implement data conversion projects, including EIB, to meet and exceed client expectations. Conduct Design Sessions: Work closely with clients to grasp their data needs and develop tailored solutions. Ensure Data Quality: Formulate effective strategies to enhance data quality throughout the conversion process, guaranteeing reliability and accuracy in Workday. Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients post-conversion, addressing any challenges and ensuring smooth operational continuity. Manage Rollout: Supervise the execution of data conversion projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation. In your role focusing on Workday Integrations, you will implement and oversee the integration of Workday with other software systems, requiring a robust understanding of both the Workday platform and external systems. Your main responsibilities will include: Lead Integration Planning: Drive the planning, design, and execution of Workday integrations with other systems, aligning with client requirements. Design and Implement Solutions: Create and execute integration solutions tailored to client specifications, which may involve coding, unit testing, and rollout processes. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a fluent integration journey. Post-Implementation Support: Deliver ongoing support to ensure the integration continually meets client needs. Ensure Business Requirements: Validate that each integration fulfills the client’s business objectives through exhaustive analysis and testing. Required Technical and Professional Expertise To succeed in this role, you should have: Extensive experience in managing large-scale data conversion projects, including EIB, with a proven history of achieving high-quality results. In-depth knowledge of Workday solutions, methodologies for data conversion, and best practices for implementation. Strong business acumen and the ability to navigate client requirements leading to effective data management strategies. Proficiency in ensuring data quality management throughout the conversion, affirming reliable data migration to Workday. Consulting skills useful for collaborating with clients, recognizing their data needs, and providing suitable solutions. Significant expertise in Workday integrations, understanding external software, APIs, data formats, and communication protocols. Strong coding capabilities and proficiency in testing methodologies pertinent to Workday integrations. Experience leading technical projects focused on robust, high-quality solutions tailored to client necessities. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Additional qualities that will set you apart include: Advanced understanding of data conversion methodologies, including EIB, and best practices in data management.
