The Opportunity The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions within our organization. This exciting position involves collaboration across various teams to maintain the security and performance of our network infrastructure, conduct detailed risk assessments, and ensure effective incident responses. Our Zero Trust services are vital in synchronizing security management strategies with business objectives. You will be tasked with managing secure access to resources and services while adhering to necessary business, privacy, and security policies. Backed by partnerships with third-party vendors, our specialists deliver a comprehensive range of services, including strategy development, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions. Your Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to enhance network infrastructure security. Monitor and configure security settings for Zscaler services. Conduct routine security assessments and audits of network environments. Collaborate with IT and network teams to ensure secure deployment of network resources. Investigate and respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions. Manage security policies and configurations within the Zscaler platform. Ensure compliance with pertinent regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2). Provide training and support to internal teams on best practices for Zscaler security. Stay informed about Zscaler security trends, threats, and technological advancements. Skills and Attributes for Success In-depth understanding of Zscaler security solutions, particularly Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). Proficiency in configuring and managing Zscaler services effectively. Strong knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards. Experience implementing security controls in complex network environments. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional documentation abilities for creating processes and user documentation related to Identity and Access Management (IAM). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in network security or a related role. Strong familiarity with Zscaler security solutions and relevant technologies. Experience with network security tools and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2. Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional (ZCCP) or CISSP are advantageous. Additional Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications in Zscaler services. Familiarity with other cloud security technologies, including CSPM and Data Protection solutions. Experience with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Advanced knowledge of Zscaler architecture and configuration. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation purposes.
