The Team The Healthcare Industry Group, a subsidiary of A&M, leads transformational change in healthcare. We are recognized for delivering tangible results to healthcare executives, boards, private equity firms, investors, and government agencies. Our team specializes in financial and operational performance improvement, strategic growth, and value maximization throughout the investment lifecycle. We focus on interim management, restructuring, revenue cycle management, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, digital technology, and analytics. Our Healthcare Services (HCS) practice serves private equity firms' portfolio companies as well as public and private healthcare organizations. We offer expertise in performance improvement, operational turnarounds, cost optimization, M&A services, and interim management. Technology Assessment: We evaluate platform, data and system architectures, applications, processes, and security while identifying improvement opportunities. Performance Improvement/Operational Turnaround: We use proven approaches to quickly assess and identify areas for performance enhancement. Cost Optimization: Our programs identify high-impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across organizations. M&A Services: We assist throughout the M&A lifecycle, covering operational due diligence and integration processes. Finance Operations: We optimize finance operations and reporting. Interim Management: Our experienced operators can step into interim roles to drive change while looking for permanent replacements. How You Will Contribute As a Director, you will lead a team and serve as a key liaison between healthcare clients and A&M on a variety of complex assignments in the MedTech space. You will oversee project delivery, from gathering data and developing insights to managing timelines and client communications. Identify opportunities to reduce cost structures through organizational redesign. Review Go-to-Market strategies, portfolio assessments, and sales effectiveness. Build financial models and conduct operational analyses. Provide project management support during transaction or integration processes. Utilize project management tools to track client initiatives and timelines. Guide clients through crises with structured performance improvement plans. Develop operational data analyses to create KPI metrics for driving change. Summarize large data sets to extract actionable insights. Lead work streams and manage engagement priorities. Prepare client-ready deliverables and presentations. Mentor junior staff and help them grow professionally. Build client relationships and identify opportunities to expand business. Support marketing by preparing pitch materials and other documents. Assist in the development of tools and templates for product and service offerings. Qualifications We seek an entrepreneurial and collaborative leader who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 12 years of experience in healthcare with a focus on MedTech in areas such as commercial, engineering, or finance. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Visio, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus. Experience managing engagements, deliverables, and mentoring junior staff. A solid understanding of M&A processes, especially operational and commercial due diligence. Knowledge of the MedTech industry, including manufacturing and operational behaviors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Willingness to travel as necessary. BA/BS degree and/or MBA/MS in relevant fields such as Finance or Healthcare Management is preferred. The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience, along with a discretionary bonus program.
