Aromatherapy Volunteer Opportunity for Hospice Patients

Unified Care Hospice is seeking caring and intuitive aromatherapy practitioners who would like to use gentle, natural scents to bring comfort and calm to patients receiving hospice care. Many of our patients experience anxiety, restlessness, or difficulty relaxing. Soft aromatherapy using safe, soothing essential oils, can provide emotional comfort, ease tension, and create a peaceful atmosphere during a tender time in their lives. Even a subtle scent can help a patient feel grounded, nurtured, and cared for. As an aromatherapy volunteer, you will visit patients in their homes, assisted living communities, group homes, offering light, supportive aromatherapy tailored to each person’s needs and sensitivities.
