Company Description NeuroPraxis is California's premiere in-home and community-based rehabilitation program for individuals with brain and spinal cord injuries. Our interdisciplinary team utilizes the latest technological advancements and innovative rehabilitation techniques to help clients overcome challenges related to TBI and/or SCI. We offer comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique needs of each patient, emphasizing the importance of individualized care in successful rehabilitation journeys. Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will deliver teletherapy services to individuals dealing with brain and spinal cord injuries, concentrating on speech, communication, language, and swallowing disorders. Daily responsibilities include: Conducting thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs. Providing treatment for speech, communication, language, and dysphagia-related swallowing disorders. Monitoring and documenting client progress using the designated EMR. Collaborating with case managers and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team members. Educating clients and their caregivers on therapeutic strategies and goals. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active California SLP license in good standing. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP). Expertise in speech therapy evaluation and treatment. Strong understanding of speech, communication, and language disorders. Experience treating dysphagia and swallowing disorders. Experience working with neurological populations (TBI, SCI, stroke, or related conditions). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Experience in home-based or community-based care is a plus. Spanish-speaking is a plus. Why Join NeuroPraxis?
