Job Title: Threat Hunter Security Engineer Location: 90% ONSITE Denver, CO Job type: Full time Permanent Shift: Full-time 8 hours a day 40 hours a week Pay Range: USD According to experience Hourly + Benefits on W2 Mission: Several Objectives as listed below 1 - SOC 2 - Specifically with the Analysis team. Monitor the big 4, writing products, briefing the secretary from a cyber perspective that could impact the energy sector 3 - Pursuit - Cyber special projects where they reach around the entire energy sector, that they are sharing information and being protected as we whole 4 - standing up a PMO office, setting up the IT services projects, setting up proper approvals, standing up contracts. Interview Process: 1 hour interview no need to run by clients Clearance: Timeline for suitability on average 2 months To secret Security clearance Length of Contract: Up to Sept 2026 Threat Hunter ICS experience as well as great communication skills to present to sr leadership CISA/CISM or CISSP Documented cyber training, with 6+ years of experience supporting cyber operations Familiarity with the US Intelligence Community and using intelligence to support cyber defense/mitigation work Familiarity with cyber hunt methodologies Experience working cyber issues to include offensive or defensive TTPs Understanding of foreign capabilities in IT or OT environments Experience providing forensic and data analysis support to cyber issues Experience with logging platforms such as Kibana or Splunk Experience with data forensic tools, including Wireshark, Kali Linux, etc. Experience working with Linux Knowledge of common malware functionality and operations Experience writing technical reports and briefing leadership Ability to provide on-site, full-time support in a client environment Active Top Secret clearance BA or BS degree
