Description Conduct assessments and evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients to create a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Craft individualized treatment plans focusing on specific communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals. Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions that emphasize language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure a unified approach to care. Educate patients and families to facilitate the progress of therapeutic goals beyond the clinic. Provide occasional speech therapy evaluations and interventions in an inpatient setting as needed. Ensure meticulous documentation in compliance with state regulations and best practices. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
