Program Manager - Strategic Delivery

In this role, team members located within 50 miles of Highmark offices will enjoy a hybrid working schedule, spending three days in the office each week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). For those living beyond this radius, remote work will be the standard, with travel to an office location for team gatherings 1-2 times a year. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and delivering complex programs requiring collaboration across various projects and activities. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Work with management to establish project teams aimed at achieving defined corporate program objectives, guiding project managers in creating and maintaining comprehensive plans. Direct cross-functional activities to optimize corporate resources for the successful delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives. Collaborate closely with the executive sponsor and management to ensure alignment with corporate program objectives. Monitor program progress and financial health, directing corrective actions as necessary. Provide detailed reports to the executive team on program status, impacts, and strategies. Identify potential risks to program success and implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Work with procurement to develop and execute strategies for service and asset contracts when needed. Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to contract terms and responsibilities. Perform additional duties as assigned. EDUCATION Minimum High School Diploma / GED Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related area of study MBA or Master's Degree in a Technology Management-related field EXPERIENCE Minimum 7-10 years of experience in project management or delivering IT-based business solutions Preferred None LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Required None Preferred PMP or relevant Project Management Certification SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY This role does not supervise or manage other employees.
