Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Summary:The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire Maintenance Mechanics on 2nd Shift in Northeastern Jefferson County. You will be responsible for maintaining or repairing equipment. Your responsibilities would include observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble, fabricating, disassembling, and assembling production equipment to gain access to repair or remove defective parts.Hours: 2nd Shift Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm,Pay: Up to $39.00/hr. Plus a $3.00 shift premium for 2nd ShiftResponsibilities:Repairing minor problems of buildings and foundations Uses knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical processes to troubleshoot machinery in a safe and skilled manner Always maintains machines in proper working condition Applies general knowledge of carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, welding, painting and masonry work as needed Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of prior Maintenance experience Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
