Job Description : JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Client Relationship Manager to oversee and enhance relationships with our existing accounts, acting as a strategic partner in their business journey. This role involves managing a portfolio of complex, multi-state accounts, contributing to the retention and growth of profitable business through effective account management and the introduction of new products and services. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, consultants, and brokers to foster strong partnerships. Act as the primary pharmacy contact, providing strategic consulting to address evolving business needs and objectives while enhancing client satisfaction. Sales and Growth: Present innovative products and services to clients, securing renewals and achieving additional sales. Analyze client needs to recommend tailored pharmacy benefit solutions, implement comprehensive business plans, and ensure profitability through effective cross-selling strategies. Operational Oversight: Manage the implementation of sales contracts and ongoing operations, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external vendors. Address and resolve client service issues promptly, taking ownership of client satisfaction and retention efforts. Market Leadership and Product Development: Contribute to product development by providing market insights and client feedback. Collaborate with internal teams to design client-centric strategies and solutions that meet demands in a competitive landscape. Pharmacy Benefit Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of pharmacy pricing and contracts to guide clients in optimizing benefit designs. Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes, using data analysis to identify retention risks and develop proactive strategies. Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the team's goals. EXPERIENCE Required: 5 years of experience in a client-facing role within the healthcare or pharmacy benefits industry. PREFERRED: None SKILLS In-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefits and market principles. Effective public speaking and presentation skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Creativity and willingness to innovate. Resilience and tenacity in problem-solving. Ability to analyze data strategically and make informed decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word). EDUCATION Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Pharmacy, or a Science related field. Substitutions: 6 years of relevant pharmacy programs/sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. PREFERRED: Masters in MBA, BSN or Doctorate in MBA, BSN, Pharm D. LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required: State-specific producer license in Life, Accident, & Health to be obtained within 45 days of hire. PREFERRED: Licenses such as Pharmacist, Nursing, or any project management or Six Sigma certifications. Certified Pharmacy Technician Licenses. Language (Other than English): None Travel Required: Frequent travel may be required. PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS Position Type: Office-Based or Remote Position.
