Industry Insurance Type Privately Held, Private Equity-backed About the Role The company is on the lookout for an innovative leader to take on the role of Senior Vice President for Ancillary Products. This role is pivotal in the creation of a Center of Excellence that will drive strategic initiatives within the division. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and executing strategies that foster strong partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and agency partners. A primary emphasis will be on driving premium growth, especially in non-medical products and services. We are seeking someone with a solid track record in establishing and maintaining lucrative revenue streams. Key responsibilities include: Creating and implementing a long-term strategic plan for ancillary lines. Positioning the team as a reliable partner in the insurance landscape. Acting as a subject matter expert across all ancillary product offerings. Engaging in high-level negotiations with industry partners. Participating in industry events and partner meetings, requiring frequent travel. Successful applicants will possess 7–10 years of progressive sales and leadership experience in ancillary benefits, encompassing life, disability, dental, vision, and voluntary products. A robust understanding of the general agency distribution model is essential, along with an established network of relationships with major national carriers and product partners. The role includes oversight of broader P&L responsibilities, budget discussions, and the management of staffing needs, technology, marketing, communications, and operations infrastructure.
