Job Description Color & Curl Sales Consultant The Color & Curl Sales Consultant (CCSC) serves as a key player in our organization, showcasing our expertise in hair color and texture while driving talent development and sales growth. In addition to typical sales associate duties, the CCSC enhances customer loyalty and brand recognition by: Building lasting relationships that encourage customer retention. Utilizing market insights to sell beauty products and offer product education both in-store and online. Providing expert consulting services to beauty salons, spas, and licensed cosmetologists on color and texture needs. This vital role focuses on expanding the color and curl business, with extensive training provided through online courses and certifications. Key Responsibilities Assess customer needs for hair color and care, providing professional recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding sales progress and customer interactions. Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and effectively. Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines to create an inviting shopping experience. Stay informed about industry trends and adapt sales techniques based on market changes. Execute all opening and closing store procedures and handle cash transactions as needed. Eligibility for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation, and holiday time based on hours worked. Qualifications Minimum of one year in retail or a sales-focused role. Licensure as a cosmetologist preferred in the US and Canada. Reliable transportation to serve the designated area effectively. Willingness to travel to sales meetings or shows at least three times a year. Strong business acumen and ability to analyze sales reports. Familiarity with retail sales systems and visual merchandising techniques is a plus. Proficient in POS systems and comfortable using technology, including social media. Flexibility to work scheduled hours and additional hours as needed for business demands. Possible temporary transfer to other locations as needed. Excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Professional presentation and positive interaction with the public are essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must pass a Color Certification Test within 60 days of hire to retain the position. Work Environment / Physical Requirements The work environment may involve routine risks or discomforts typical of retail settings, including offices and training rooms. It requires adherence to standard safety practices.
