About the Role & Program Join Disney Consumer Products (DCP) and become part of a vibrant team that connects families and fans to the enchantment of Disney's beloved stories. With our impressive lineup of franchises, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, you will play a key role in shaping innovative social media marketing strategies. If you are passionate about content creation and eager to enhance your social media marketing skills, this internship is for you! As a full-time intern for six months, you will work with a dynamic team, ideating and developing creative social media strategies for our exciting range of products. This position will be based in either Orlando, FL, or Glendale, CA, for the duration of June 2026 to January 2027. What You Will Do Engage in collaborative brainstorming sessions with marketing teams to conceptualize captivating content for Disney products across social media. Capture and edit high-quality multimedia content, delivering engaging posts on a weekly basis. Develop and foster a vibrant community on social media platforms, actively connecting with fans and applying insights on Gen Z trends. Work with the team to design and implement effective social media plans and calendars. Create influencer lists for product gifting opportunities to boost visibility and engagement. Required Qualifications & Skills Strong familiarity with various social media platforms, showcasing knowledge of formats, functionalities, and trending content. Experience in creating engaging content. A creative outlook with the ability to enhance social media content formats. Excellent partnership and relationship-building skills. Hands-on experience as a user and creator on TikTok. Aspirations to guide and inspire creative teams. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly in Photoshop and Illustrator. Prior experience in social marketing, particularly with entertainment brands. Relevant experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods, advertising, or brand management. Required Materials A portfolio review is necessary for this position. Relevant coursework in Marketing, Communications, PR, Design, or a similar field is encouraged. Eligibility Requirements MUST be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. MUST not have completed one year of continuous employment in a Disney internship or Disney College Program. Must be at least 18 years old. Must possess unrestricted work authorization. Additional Information Compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines is mandatory while at work. This internship runs from June 2026 to January 2027. Full-time availability (approximately 40 hours per week) is essential, with potential evenings and weekends required.
