MSP Network Engineer

The MSP Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and escalation support of client infrastructure. This is an in-person role based in Wausau, Wisconsin.We'll Provide: Competitive salary of $80,000/yearHealth, vision, and dental benefits, alongside PTO and 401k benefitsPerformance-based incentivesFull on the job training & supportFun working environment and culture What You’ll Do: Design, deploy, support, and continuously improve client network, server, and cloud infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless, VPNs, physical/virtual servers, Azure, and Microsoft 365Serve as a senior escalation point, providing advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex or high-impact network, server, and cloud issuesLead and execute client-facing infrastructure and cloud projects such as migrations, refreshes, upgrades, and new implementationsDefine, apply, and document infrastructure and cloud standards, architectures, and major configuration changes within client environmentsCollaborate with clients, internal teams, and account management on technical planning, escalations, and long-term infrastructure roadmapsProvide technical mentorship to more junior technical resources Skills You’ll Need: 2-5 years of experience in a similar roleStrong foundational knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching, with hands-on experience supporting firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliancesExperience supporting Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-VProven experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including complex hybrid infrastructure issuesAbility to independently troubleshoot advanced technical issues while clearly documenting environments and communicating solutions to clientsPrior MSP experience preferred, with comfort working in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentAbility to work an on-call rotation to support client needs after hoursInfrastructure or cloud certifications and experience with hybrid identity preferred Ready to apply?Quick apply with your resumeORGet a head start on the application process through our online portal here:
