Position Overview: As a valued member of our sales team, you will participate in a robust training program that combines online coursework with practical field training and mentorship. Your dedicated field trainer will guide you through the sales process, covering everything from basic techniques to advanced strategies. While prior sales experience is a plus, we highly value the right attitude and willingness to learn. You will oversee your designated territory, engaging with small to medium-sized businesses in various sectors. This will involve in-person meetings with business owners and decision-makers, introducing them to personalized supplemental insurance solutions. You’ll also have the opportunity to conduct group presentations to teams ranging from 5 to over 50 employees. Key Responsibilities: Utilize our Salesforce CRM to manage leads, generate clients, and foster a professional network within your territory and nearby communities. Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or text. Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to assess their insurance needs. Participate in regular meetings and calls with your sales manager and team. Proactively visit local businesses to build relationships, follow up on referrals, and provide excellent service to existing clients. Develop and maintain your own client portfolio. Work collaboratively with your sales manager to establish monthly and quarterly sales goals. Plan and adhere to a structured weekly schedule, submitting it to your sales manager each week. Track daily work metrics and update sales activity at the end of each day. Qualifications & Preferred Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for forming genuine connections quickly. A strong desire to help others, resilience in challenging situations, and a history of surpassing expectations in sales, athletics, or leadership roles. Defined personal goals, a positive attitude, and an optimistic outlook on life. Quick-thinking with excellent situational awareness and critical thinking abilities. A strong desire for learning and growth, coupled with effective time management skills and the ability to work independently. Individuals with backgrounds in competitive sports, coaching, athletics, or competitive leagues often excel in our team. Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or a willingness to obtain one; study course and state licensing fee reimbursement provided). Bachelor's degree or a minimum of four years of post-high school work experience (candidates nearing degree completion or with less than four years of professional experience in relevant sales/athletic fields may apply). Compensation & Benefits: Thorough classroom and field training program. Weekly draw pay option plus uncapped commissions, short sales cycle (3 business days), monthly cash bonuses, quarterly stock share bonuses, incentive trips, and renewal commissions.
