Hospice - Area Vice President of Operations An exceptional opportunity has become available for an Area Vice President of Operations with a leading healthcare provider specializing in hospice care. Our client is seeking an accomplished leader with expertise in multi-site operations and a solid background in hospice services to join their Michigan team. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic oversight and leadership for hospice operations across multiple sites in Michigan. - Mentor and support Executive Directors at each site, developing their leadership capabilities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Oversee and partner with clinical, quality, operations, and business development initiatives to drive efficient hospice service delivery and community engagement. - Collaborate closely with the clinical and sales teams to enhance patient care and expand service outreach. - Spearhead the establishment and operational launch of new hospice sites as part of the organization’s expansion strategy. - Monitor and enhance performance metrics to ensure the provision of high-quality hospice care, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. - Foster a positive culture that encourages team excellence and addresses community needs with sensitivity and respect. - Report directly to senior leadership. Requirements: - Extensive experience in hospice operations management, with a proven track record of successful leadership across multiple sites. - Strong understanding of hospice operations, with the ability to navigate complex operational environments. - Previous experience operational execution in healthcare settings. - Demonstrated experience in establishing and scaling new service locations, known as DeNovo experience. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships and leading diverse teams. - Ability to be on-site from Tuesday to Thursday, with a commitment to being highly engaged with the teams in each location - Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
