Responsibilities & Qualifications Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing, the Sourcing Lead will be responsible for developing, accomplishing and implementing effective procurement strategies. The role is part of a Global Sourcing team, in the Novelis Procurement Organization, that sources, negotiates, implements, and handles supply agreements, covering primarily indirect spend categories. The primary focus of this role will be management part of Novelis' Information Technology and Professional Services spend across IT Hardware and Contingent Labor as well as other related sub-categories across IT Services, Telecom and Professional Services. Responsibilities Develop, communicate and implement effective procurement strategies for assigned categories. Partner with applicable Novelis team members, act as a trusted business partner, provide strategic direction, communicate goals, practices and processes of IT Sourcing group Responsible for all aspects of supplier management including but not limited to supplier development and management, contract negotiations, performance management and reporting, supplier reviews, procurement project management, etc. Collaborate with partners and suppliers to identify cost reduction opportunities by leveraging Novelis' spend data, draw insights from data, create and implement cost reduction initiatives Partner with suppliers in forward thinking strategic development and relationship building, leverage innovative ideas by acting as a liaison between Business partners and Suppliers Contribute in development and implementation of AI strategies within Procurement, this includes developing functional view on AI, developing AI ready talent, identify and implement AI use-cases, etc. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience in handling relevant categories in scope Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience Strong data analytics skills Ability to influence others and get results in highly matrix environment, Ability to balance contending priorities and lead projects to efficiently and effectively deliver results High energy/impact, dedicated individual Ability to get results by using data to evaluate options. Excellent presentation skills Detail orientation with vision and strategy Strong sense of ownership and ability to navigate through ambiguities with minimal direction Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Technology procurement with focus on Data analytics, digitization and AI, strategic sourcing and/or category management associated with indirect categories Ability to communicate effectively (in writing and verbally) and build relationships with internal and external partners Strong project management and strategic sourcing experience Up to 10% travel required to support projects at Novelis sites, supplier visits, trade events and conferences. Travel could be domestic or international.
