Senior Project Manager

Position Summary: We are representing a reputable developer-builder based in West LA seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile multifamily construction projects located within the Los Angeles, CA area. This individual will play a key leadership role overseeing a complex, multi-phase development involving ground-up podium construction, major residential renovations, and apartment new construction including integrated scopes across a 250+ unit renovation and a 100-unit new apartment complex. Strong experience with Multifamily projects is required and solid understanding of podium projects is also a plus. This is a long-term hire for a company that prioritizes craftsmanship, quality control, and high-end finishes. The selected candidate will spend roughly half their time on-site and the other half in the office, working closely with internal teams, ownership, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: Lead full-cycle project execution from buyout through closeout on multifamily developments Manage budgets, schedules, RFI/submittal/change order workflows, and subcontractor coordination Oversee Procore-based project documentation and reporting with a high degree of accuracy Collaborate with architects, consultants, and ownership to ensure alignment on design and delivery Supervise field operations, including sitework, vertical construction, and finish quality Drive resolution on site challenges, while maintaining momentum on project milestones Participate in cost tracking, internal meetings, and ongoing schedule updates Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, and project-specific requirements Qualifications: 7-10+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction Demonstrated experience with podium construction, high-density apartment complexes, and large-scale renovations Strong knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project, and construction workflows Ability to manage both technical field operations and office-based documentation Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills Local to the West LA area or open to being on-site regularly Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary ($150-175K depending on experience) Discretionary bonuses, paid out regularly based on performance Full medical benefits 401(k) plan with 3% company match 2 weeks PTO to start Mileage reimbursement as needed for project-related travel
