Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) Patient Care Technician working night shifts. This role involves providing compassionate, routine patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for patients and staff alike. Job Summary As a Patient Care Technician, you will perform a variety of technical and direct care tasks including CPR, vital signs monitoring, telemetry patient observation, EKG acquisition, wound care, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures. You will support patients with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, and meal preparation, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program. Experience One to two years of patient care experience, preferably in acute care settings. Telemetry experience is a plus. Licenses and Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Medical Assistant Phlebotomy certification preferred. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of patient care practices within the nursing assistant scope. Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and team members. Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical telemetry equipment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills. Work Environment This is a 0.9 FTE position with 12-hour night shifts (1800-0630) in a supportive healthcare setting.
