Education High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant program. Experience One to two years of patient care experience, preferably in acute care settings. Telemetry experience is a plus. Licenses and Certifications Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Medical Assistant Phlebotomy certification preferred. Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of patient care practices within the nursing assistant scope. Ability to apply age-specific growth and development principles. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and team members. Proficiency with electronic medical records and medical telemetry equipment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills. Work Environment This is a 0.9 FTE position with 12-hour night shifts (1800-0630) in a supportive healthcare setting.
