Qualifications / Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience, with at least 1 year focused on obstetrics Certified Surgical Technician (CST) preferred but not required BLS certification required Comfortable working independently as a solo surgical tech Experience assisting with vaginal deliveries and OB surgical cases Ability to support stocking and preparation for night shifts Responsibilities: Provide surgical tech support for OB procedures including vaginal deliveries, scheduled and emergency C-sections, and tubals Maintain sterile instruments and assist anesthesia and nursing teams Attend deliveries and assist with instrumentation Support OR and patient room stocking during night shifts Flexibility to float rarely to a nearby facility with advance notice Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, typically 1900-0700 Weekend rotation every other weekend Holiday coverage approximately 50% of assigned holidays Benefits and Perks: Free parking 2 days of orientation to the unit and facility Collaborative department with dedicated CNAs, nurses, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians available on-site Use of advanced technology including EPIC EMR and Neptune equipment This is a contract opportunity ideal for surgical techs specializing in obstetrics.
