MRI Technician | Rochester, New York

This engaging contract opportunity is for an experienced MRI Technologist skilled in using GE Signa 1.5 Tesla imaging equipment. The role requires a commitment to a flexible rotation schedule, providing 40 hours per week of critical diagnostic imaging services in a busy hospital setting. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM (10-hour shifts) Saturday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (10-hour shift) Qualifications: Minimum 2 years recent MRI experience, specifically with GE Signa 1.5 Tesla machines 2 years U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. trained candidates Hold one of the following certifications: ARRT (Radiologic Technologist), CNMT, RDMS, or NYS Radiology Tech license with certification to perform IV injections ARRT certification will be required if holding a NYS Radiology Tech license Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the hospital location Responsibilities: Perform high-quality MRI scans following established protocols Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures Accurately document and manage imaging data and patient records Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment planning Location: Situated in Rochester, NY, this role offers access to a vibrant community rich in culture, outdoor activities, and historical attractions.
