As laminator operator you will take full control of ensuring adhesive raw materials are adjusted and mixed properly; providing level one support for operations and level two support for ensuring SOP is followed. Your ability to keep up on multiple processes is mission critical. Help Laminator Operator 1 & II process materials according to work instructions Mix adhesive according to formulas Check first piece conformance to specifications Set up and operate Lathe Machine according Lathe Machine Operating Procedures when needed. "Hazard Waste Generator" - generates hazardous waste as part of the production process. Report quality issues to Laminator Operator I Report ALL unsafe acts and conditions to the shift manager immediately Verification of what impression rollers are needed for 4 hour runs- and cut/or resurface to specifications interpret job order to determine correct calculation of needed amount of adhesive for job Report all Food Safety violations to management. Assist the Lam Operator with adding adhesive, changing raw material rolls and other substrates Skills Requirements: Read, Speak and Write English Mechanical Aptitude, Data Input, Knowledge of Tape Measure & Ruler /Metric-Standard Educational Requirements: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent job experience Corporate Training Provided Review Company (Corporate and Divisional) policies and procedures Personal Safety GMP Training Food Safety and Quality Systems requirements and procedures Review Food Safety and Quality System policies Explanation of departments and their roles Job Specific Training Hazards PPE ERP Shop Floor Procedures Standard Operating Procedures Understanding laminators orders. Proper procedure for mixing adhesives with solvents. Proper way to transport adhesives and solvents throughout the plant.
