Job Details - Telemetry RN / Travel Nursing Location: Montclair, CA 91763 (Southern California, near Los Angeles) Unit: Telemetry / DOU / Med-Surg (cardiac telemetry monitoring) Position Type: Travel Nursing Contract (Travel RN) Start Date: March 23, 2026 End Date: March 22, 2027 Contract Duration: 52 weeks Shift: 12-hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) Hours per Week: 36 Openings: 12 Telemetry RN positions available Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1650 Required Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN) Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required Minimum 1 year recent RN experience; Telemetry, cardiac monitoring, or similar acute care/Med-Surg experience preferred Ventilator management experience preferred COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred per facility policy Ability to complete all onboarding health and competency requirements Key Responsibilities - Telemetry Nurse / Travel RN Provide safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Deliver direct patient care in Telemetry/DOU/Med-Surg, including cardiac telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate per protocol Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team about patient status and care plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner Educate patients and families to support positive outcomes and safe transitions of care Mentor and support other nursing personnel while maintaining high standards of clinical practice Why This Travel Nursing Job - Montclair, California Montclair, CA offers a welcoming community atmosphere, Southern California climate, and easy access to outdoor recreation, shopping, and cultural attractions in the greater Los Angeles area.
