A pharmacy technician opportunity is available to provide essential support at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving an underserved patient population. This role offers flexible, per diem work covering call-offs, PTO, and vacation shifts-typically around two shifts per month-allowing for excellent work-life balance and supplemental income. Location: Salisbury, NC Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (no weekends) Setting: FQHC/340B program System: PioneerRx Position Type: Per Diem (PRN) Key Responsibilities: Accurately prepare and process prescriptions within the FQHC pharmacy environment Work collaboratively in a one pharmacist/one technician setting Assist with medication dispensing and ensure attention to patient needs Support pharmacy operations with a focus on serving underserved populations Qualifications: Licensed Pharmacy Technician in North Carolina Recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in an FQHC or similar clinical setting Familiarity with underserved patient populations is highly desirable Comfort working in a small team with one pharmacist and one technician Spanish language skills are a strong plus, especially if the pharmacist is also bilingual, to better serve the patient community This position suits a detail-oriented, patient-focused technician who thrives in a collaborative and community-centered environment.
